Magicframe closely worked with Prof. Dr. med. Dipl.-Psych. Hartmut Göbel and developed the website. Primary Challege was to develop some crucial areas within the website. We decided to kick the project off with a detail analysis of requirements. It gave us the chance to really get into detail regarding user experience, content hierarchy, presentation of information in website and how the institute Schmerzklinik Kiel should be interpreted online. Elaborated communications with client gave us the chance to try ideas out, refine them and even finalise some things prior to returning to Winchester to work on front-end development. The code is so flexible that images, videos, galleries, block quotes, social media buttons and any other type of content can be placed in different areas and lists can optionally contain images, links, bullets and captions. There is consistent styling, but we can fit the design to each individual piece of content. We feel proud to work with an ace and eminent person to develop one of the best practice websites in Germany. This website is responsive that would better reflect their core specialisms and improve usability for clients. The primary challenge was to establish the brand of this charitable trust organisation as an economic and public policy researcher and advisor who promotes well informed and reasoned debate on public policy issue relevant to New Zealand decision making. As the organisations's success was built on extremely high quality research, it was very challenging to showcase the information of organisation's researchers as prime teachers of university courses who also supervises thesis students. The organisation also hosts international academic visitors and run coferences, dialogue groups and workshops. We played the role of brand and strategy consultant and we did not work directly with the primary customer. We closely worked with their communications agency and equipped them with direct advise on how to implement a straight forward data presentation website using simple and minimalist layout design, colours and typography. We also helped them about usability analysis and provided them the best possible user experience ever! Visitors of this website come from diverse backgrounds: Journalists, Data Researchers, University Research Fellows, Students, Academicians, Politicians and Diplomats.
3PSMARS project is a web-based Resource Centre focuses on Policy, Planning and Management in the Public Sector. Its main objective is to promote results-based policy and public management through documentation, research, transparency, resource sharing and professional community interaction. Being involved in research concerning policy, planning and public administration in Africa, it was found that documentation on the state of the arts practice and policy documents are hard to source, unless those in which IGOs like the UN, the World Bank and International NGOs have been involved in. Magicframe had a challenge! This is not because the documents which contain vital information are not produced, the fact remains that they are not easily accessible, especially online and we had to achieve this! Magicframe had created the logo, basic identity of this online resource portal. We had developed the website which uploads of as many documents as possible, by giving free access to organizations, ministries, NGOs , civil servants and researchers to upload reports, policy papers, PowerPoint presentations and other relevant documents.
When we started working with The Custom Design Company we soon realised that our preconceptions of what a custom made greetings cards website should look like weren’t right in this case. We decided to learn first and then experimented with different design models. Design is an exercise to solve a 'problem'. For any established company, the creation of a website and webshop consistent with their brand identity is paramount. The Custom Design Company is no exception, and our focus was placed on conveying the balance between professionalism, and a fun relaxed work ethic. Human Frequency Centre is an international team of medical, therapeutic, energy and scientific professionals in Germany. They have been organizers and members of a scientific brain research team, working together with one of the most well-known speakers and best-selling authors about transformation of body and mind, Dr. Joe Dispenza. During this time, while measuring thousands of individuals, the centre has been able to identify the data from the brain and body, and by cooperating with the team that confirmed even DNA transformations, they all together show great health benefits, as well as the progress in personal development, of meditation and other training methods. Magicframe designed and developed the website using user friendly WordPress Content Management System (CMS), allowing website admin the ability to manage and organize published content. In addition, the site has been optimized to allow users from mobile and tablet devices seamless browsing. The focus was to create their online appearance, look and feel, users experience and conversions, awareness, and exposure, while making it easier for visitors to browse information.
When working with a Flyticino with languages from 4 countries, it’s no easy task to create an intuitive architecture built around limiting clicks and minimizing hassle. The navigation required a different line of thinking from the get-go to ensure no matter where you are on the site, you’re only a few clicks – or taps of the phone – from being able to browse the website seamlessly. Whereas a common project progresses from strategy to design to development, FlyTicino was an intensive partnership between client and us. We established the content hierarchy and URL structure early on in the process to create a uniquely manageable international site. Website's visual direction and design were already decided by client. We don’t just practice and preach user experience for the end user, we also keep the client CMS user experience top of mind, too, by building out WordPress to make it easier for the client to add, edit and manage content.
The Sternplatz Hotel is a craft beer theme boutique hotel located in Ehingen, Germany. As a no frills hotel they focus their marketing efforts on promoting their great location and affordable prices. The Sternplatz Hotel contacted Magicframe to help improve their online branding by redesigning their website. They were also concerned with fresh new look and feel and very user friendly approach to their customers in terms of accessing information and booking process. After a basic research and planned discussions with The Sternplatz Hotel, Magicframe designed the website using Warm and clean design strategy, clearly communicates about beer culture themed hotel and Managing customer expectations by not oversellig hotel. We provided intuitive navigation, consistent structure and clear labeling. CMS also provides easy movement for customers to make reservations, site admin have abilities to manage room inventory. Basic search engine optimisation has been done along wih social media integration.
L'Ecole is a unique learning institution, welcoming the general people into the secretive worlds of jewelry and watchmaking. L'Ecole undertook a full website redesign project to further the School's goals of strengthening the brand identity of the school, promoting the School's engagement in the local and global community and extending the reach of the school to broader audiences. The primary challenge was to implement new information architecture and site navigation with intuitive and optimized user experience, including a directory of department and programs. The site has 4 language options to read. Magicframe helped the communication design agency associated with L'Ecole to frame the business challenge, finding digital solutions and getting meaningful results. We started working with Brand expression by supporting new branding with content that incorporates copy, tone, visual elements and overall message that was consistent with the instituinal brand identity. We also took part in visualisation of taxonomy based access control and organic groups enabling permission management system that eliminates bottleneck of requests for the marketing communications team.
Recruitment Panda is a United Kingdom based recruitment consultancy specialising in health and social care personnel to find suitable work. Recruitment Panda management team decided on a complete re-design of their website and commissioned Magicframe to do just that. The work involved total site redesign, make the website fully mobile/tablet responsive, vacancy search facility and dynamic vacancy listings. Magicframe embarked on a bespoke ground-up redesign of Recruitment Panda website. After analysing the needs of the organisation, both current and planned, a framework for the new site was developed which included integration with the company's job posting service. This important functionality automatically delivers job listings straight to the website. The entire website was built around a full content management system (developed using hand coded PHP) which allows updating of all content by Recruitment Panda website staffs.
Magicframe had a previous experience of working with a digital gaming company in Trier, Germany but never worked before with such a team like Toybox. This is an Austrian League of Legends Team, currently playing the ESL Meisterschaft! One of the key challenges of working with Toybox was its distributed nature in gaming. A highly competitive team won several awards e.g. ESL Meisterschaft Germany Winterseason Playoffs 2015, came with a challenge to establish their identity. Added to this, we weren’t able to meet face-to-face at any point in the project. We guided them through the process and they guided us too. It has been a pleasure working with the team and supporting them through this major transition.
We were assigned and tasked with creating a new innovative apperance of website with sleek and modern look that could handle a variety of topics and types of content. The most important consideration for this site was it's smartphone usability. Another big consideration for the project was portraying information in a vivid manner. The final big consideration was site speed and its ability to handle extremely high levels of traffic. This high level of traffic meant that we had to keep the website as light as possible in terms of processing power required by the server to ensure that every user has a fast and seamless experience browsing the site.

The ICHD-3 beta website makes it very easy to understand and follow the precise organisation and content of the current classification, making the practical application in the clinical field and in research simpler than ever before. The first edition of the International Headache Classification was published in 1988. The very first website that went online was published in 1990 almost at the same time. While ICHD-1 did not become available digitally, the website for ICHD-2 was launched for the first time in 2006. In recent years, there has been a tremendous advance of digital media in medicine. The use of mobile smartphones and tablets has become a standard in all areas of medicine. Many different operating systems and display formats are available. For ICHD-3 beta, we have chosen a platform that responsively adjusts to the different devices and display formats. The web address can be directly added to the home screen of the particular device and thereby opened and used just like a native app. The links demonstrate, how digital ICHD-3 beta can be added to iOS or Android home screen. The website also provides a “reader mode”, a one-tap solution for reading web pages formatted for easy reading. After loading the ICHD-3 beta website page in the Safari browser for example, click the Reader button at the left end of the address bar. Likewise, reader mode is also available in other up-to-date mobile browsers. Entire team of Magicframe worked closely through representation with chairman of society's website committee and we moved on to creating a new visual design for the site. We worked closely with society's brand guidelines but extended areas like colour palette where it was needed to convey perceptions such as warmth and clarity. Imagery plays a big part in the new design as well as the use of serif fonts for main copy and sans serif for instructional text. Finally, we stitched the website that our web team integrated with the Wordpress content management system. We created responsive designs that react to browser window sizes including a homepage that responds to window height as well as width.

Born to be Wild website is designed to encourage interactivity and allow sharing of tourism information and activities between local residents and visitors. Born to be Wild campaign aims to boost this sector in the region to their own visitors. This company wanted to give their visitors a taste of the luxury experience before they book. They wanted to differentiate their visitors'experience online for more bookings.
Chocolate Cloud is a Danish start-up founded in 2014 by researchers from Aalborg University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Our goal is to provide flexible, highly reliable, and screaming fast cloud storage technologies using erasure correcting codes, in particular, network coding. Magicframe helped Chocolate Cloud to design and develop their corporate website using a premium wordpress theme. We worked mostly on theme customisation as per their instructions.

Dr. med. Andreas Frank is a premier neurosurgeon and specialist in spinal stenosis and disc surgery based in Munich, Germany. It was important to rebrand the online presence for Dr. med. Andreas Frank. We began the process to enhance the Neurochirurgische Praxis brand experience by setting a couple project goals. The look and feel of the website and branding were critical to the success of the project. Our objective was to design a user interface that exemplified the artistry and professionalism of the Neurochirurgische Praxis brand. Designing almost near to perfect user experience that facilitated the patient's journey, providing the information patients needed, where and when they wanted it. The sheer amount of information for each and every treatment is staggering to anyone unfamiliar with his expertise and Neuro Surgery practice. It was important to ensure we captured that information and presented it in an aesthetically pleasing way for both desktop and mobile users. For this phase of the project, we focused on the new design, namely the homepage, the website flow, and the layout of the most important pages. We spent a lot of time considering site navigation, as a site this deep required an innovative approach to provide the essential navigational elements so users could find what they wanted without overwhelming them with options. We also designed a strategic flow of the core pages, to not only present the right information, but to present it in the right order to better facilitate the thought processes and behavior of the patient's journey.

Amitava earned Bachelor Degree in Science from University of Calcutta and received Diploma in Visual Design, Multimedia and Animation from a premiere multimedia school of India. He went on to study Film and Video Arts at Chitrabani - Saint. Xaviers', Society of Jesus (under the Archdiocese of Calcutta) ; considered the most prestigious center of media and communication studies in Eastern India at that time. During his work-tenure with different media organisations and academic institutes, Amitava has participated in several training programmes and workshops conducted by Adobe, Autodesk, United Nations Development Programme and other organisations. 17+ years of experience of working in multi-cultural and multi-national work atmosphere has nourished Amitava's self esteem.
